Spring 2012 Open Project: Horizon Lines
Spring 2012 Open Project: Horizon Lines
Exposures is pleased to announce our first ever Open Project!
This themed project is open to everyone interested in participating as we look to compose a collaboratively created work of art representing and connecting our views and experiences. Submit a photo with your friend! Get your class involved! Get out in your community and make a photo that shows your view of the world!
Time Frame: February 1 through April 30, 2012
Theme: Horizon Lines
The Challenge: Create a photograph of a horizon line that shows how your region is unique—what is significant about your community or area? Is it the land? People? Activities? Are there important issues you would like to raise to viewers? Consider how you can make a statement and share your experiences and a strong sense of place using a horizon line.
Then What?: E-mail your photograph to info@exposuresprogram.org.
And Then?: Check the Exposures website at www.exposuresprogram.org. We will post horizon lines from all over the country (and beyond?) to our web galleries as they are collected. As the galleries fill up we will be connecting the images into a panorama horizon line that will be available to view online and printed for exhibitions.
